Naomi Tansey

MEng (Hons), MSc

Naomi is a Senior Consultant at Noise Consultants and joined the company in 2025.

Naomi studied General Engineering at Durham University, then specialised in Acoustics at Salford University. Her career has been centred on acoustics and innovation, working for approximately 3 years in a large multidisciplinary consultancy and over 5 years in research and development at a global technology company, where she also worked in South East Asia for 13 months.

Naomi has experience with national infrastructure schemes (HS2 Ph2b and National Highways), Environmental Impact Assessments (York Central and Jersey Hospital), also noise modelling and building acoustics for HS2 Euston Station Expansion.

We have worked with the team at Noise Consultants for many years and have always found them to be knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to our needs. We can rely on them to deliver high quality noise impact assessments and to devise noise mitigation schemes that are practical and cost-effective.
