Dr Joshua Nunn

MSci(Hons) PhD AMRSC

Josh is a Principal Consultant working between Noise Consultants and our sister company Air Quality Consultants

Joshua obtained an MSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, with a research focus on understanding physical processes using applied computer modelling and simulation.

He has over 10 years’ experience in computer programming and experience in the use of parallel computing methodologies in the optimisation of performance-critical applications for large-scale modelling projects and data processing. He has broad GIS capabilities and has experience in the implementation of scripted GIS workflows and the creation of plugins for geoprocessing and data analysis projects. He has pioneered the use of distributive calculation to deliver analysis tasks for NCL’s aviation noise projects, including the quantification of monetised health impacts and aircraft overflight.
